How to play
Throwing
Swipe up from anywhere on the screen and let go to throw. The angle of the swipe aims left or right, the length sets the power: the bar beside the ball shows how hard.
For your first 3 throws (every throw on Easy) a faint line shows where the ball will fly.
Keys: ←→ aim (hold Shift for fine aim), hold Space or Enter and let go when the power bar is right, R re-racks. Esc pauses.
The ball flies like a real ping-pong ball: it bounces on the table, clatters off rims and walls, can roll round a rim and drop in, or pop back out.
Turns
Each turn is 2 throws. A ball in a cup knocks that cup out.
Balls back: sink both throws of a turn and you throw again.
Bounce shot (house rule): a ball that bounces on the table before it goes in takes out 2 cups, the one it landed in plus the loneliest cup left.
Re-rack: once a game, when the cups you are aiming at are down to 6, 4 or 3, tap Re-rack to pull them into a triangle, a diamond or a stoplight line.
Heating up after 2 in a row, On fire after 3 (house rule): while you are on fire the cup openings are wider, until you miss.
Winning
Knock out all the other side's cups first.
Redemption (house rule): when your last cup goes, you keep throwing until you miss. Clear every cup they have left and it goes to overtime: 3 cups each, same rules.
Modes
vs Computer: Easy, Medium or Hard. Every computer works out the perfect throw with the same physics you play with; the harder ones miss by less. Your wins are saved on this device.
2 players on one device: pass it to whoever is throwing. The view turns round to their end of the table.
