How to play
The goal
Race your token from the start, up the board from square 1 (bottom left) to square 100 (top). The rows zig-zag: left to right, then right to left.
The first player to reach 100 wins. The others can play on for 2nd and 3rd place.
Your turn
Tap the dice cup (or press Space) to shake it and throw the die onto the board, and your token moves that many squares by itself. Everyone starts off the board, so a roll of 4 puts you on square 4.
Roll a 6 and you get another roll straight after your move.
You have 15 seconds to roll. When time runs out, the game rolls for you.
Ladders and snakes
Stop at the bottom of a ladder and climb straight up to its top.
Stop on a snake's head and slide all the way down to its tail.
Only where you stop counts: passing over a ladder or a snake does nothing. Any number of tokens can share a square.
Finishing
Exact roll to finish (on): you must land exactly on 100. If you roll too much, you walk up to 100 and bounce back the extra squares, and a snake where you stop still bites.
With it off, reaching or passing 100 wins.
Boards and modes
The classic board has 9 ladders and 10 snakes. Turn on Random board on the start screen for a fresh layout every game.
Play vs bots: you are Red against 1 to 3 bots. Pass & play: 2 to 4 people share one device, each with their own colour and name.
The dice cup can be red or white: pick it in the setup or the pause menu.
